The Green Team is a lawn care business that provides jobs for at risk youth in NW Arkansas. The goal of
the program is to provide job opportunities for at-risk youth and to allow them to develop entreprenurial
skills that come with running a small business. This includes the administrative skills and sales
experience.
Each participant receives a My Case Pro evaluation which helps them identify their skills and interests.
They develop a 5 year plan for their life including educational goals. Our goal is to place these interns
into more permanent positions with one of our business allies we call our Business Champions.
The measurable outcome of the program will be increased graduation rates, greater classroom
participation, successful completion of the Arkansas Career Readiness Certificate, and a stronger, more
qualified addition to our area's work force.
