COLLABORATION is an essential core strategy for Youth
Strategies. Collaboration leverages the expertise, resources,
and manpower of all partners in the collaboration. It
exponentially increases our ability to reach, serve, and impact
our area youth. Collaboration is an identified "best practice" in
helping at-risk youth transition from adolescence into adulthood.

NWAYDC - The Northwest Arkansas Youth Development
Collaborative was formed in the Spring of 2009. It is the entity
leading the effort to develop the Arkansas State Youth Vision
program. It was formed from a core group of interested area
agency liaisons, community leaders, and local workforce area
administrators and has continued with strong participation from
area agencies, service providers, volunteers, and local
businesses.
All youth-serving entities freely share information and
resources to create and sustain a comprehensive system that
provides youth easy access to the services and support that will
prepare them to be productive members of society. All partners
actively seek input from employers and youth, and each jointly
focuses their resources on meeting the needs identified.

CHAMPIONS PROGRAM - Our Champions are our
business partners that have signed on to hire our clients on a
part time basis as a continuation of their internship. They
provide a variety of support including speakers for our year
round program at the Alternative Learning Environment,
professional on-site supervision, and career development
tools for our participants.
